Refund Policy
Draft pending legal review. Prepared in-house. Reviewed by AI against Singapore law and Paddle’s seller terms on 2026-08-26; that is not a substitute for a Singapore-qualified lawyer. Not legal advice.
This page states the refund we offer on a paid licence for Thorp. JOYFULAI TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. (UEN 202347972H) is the Supplier that provides the software and paid entitlements; the seller for the transaction is Paddle.
Who you buy from
Purchases are made from the Paddle contracting entity identified at checkout and on your invoice (“Paddle”). Paddle is the authorised reseller, seller and Merchant of Record for the transaction: it issues the invoice, handles tax, and its Buyer Terms apply to the payment itself. These terms and the Terms of Use govern your use of the software.
The refund below is our promise as the supplier. It is offered in addition to whatever Paddle’s own buyer terms give you, and in addition to any right you have under the law that applies to you. Where our promise is more generous than Paddle’s default policy, ours applies. Nothing on this page reduces a right you cannot lawfully be asked to give up.
The refund
14 calendar days, no reason needed.
Ask within 14 calendar days of the transaction date and you get the full purchase price back. You do not need to give a reason. We will not ask you to complete a retention call, a survey, or any other process before processing it.
This is in addition to your mandatory rights and to your rights under Paddle’s own policies. We instruct Paddle to honour this additional supplier right; only Paddle, as the seller, issues the refund.
One exception, and we would rather name it than call this “unconditional”. Paddle, as the seller, applies its own documented rules on demonstrated fraud, refund abuse and manipulative behaviour, and it can decline a refund on that basis. We do not control that decision. If it ever happens to you and you think it is wrong, write to us and we will take it up with Paddle on your behalf. Your mandatory legal rights are unaffected either way.
The Founding Pilot is a one-time 90-day licence and does not renew, so there is no renewal charge to refund. If we ever sell something that renews, this page will say how the refund works on it before it goes on sale.
How to ask
Email support@thorp.run from the address you bought with, or use the receipt Paddle sent you. Include the Paddle invoice reference if you have it — it makes the refund faster, but it is not a condition.
We acknowledge within 2 business days and instruct the refund within 5 business days of acknowledging it. “Business day” means a day other than Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday in Singapore. How long the money takes to reach you after that is set by Paddle and your payment provider, not by us.
You can also request a refund directly through Paddle using the link on your receipt.
After a refund
The licence ends. You must stop using the paid features it unlocked. Environments, profiles and data on your own machine are yours and are not affected — we cannot reach them and do not delete anything.
What is not refundable
Nothing else is charged for, so nothing else needs a rule here. Thorp has no usage fees, no add-ons and no third-party charges billed by us. If that changes, this page changes first.
